DR400Our  aim is to provide quality flying training, on a one to one basis. We aim to place you with one flight instructor, from start to finish; providing that is what you want. Bateleur Aviation is a CAA registered training organisation, and follows both the JAA flight training syllabus and the NPPL flight training syllabus.

All PPL, IMC and MEP written examinations cost £30 per attempt per examination.

Location of Training

Flight training is carried out at Lashenden Aerodrome, also known as Headcorn Aerodrome, because of the variety of aircraft available for training, the generally informal atmosphere and the location. Headcorn is 15 minutes from junction 8 off the M20, and only 1 hour from South East London by road or rail. Headcorn aerodrome in the heart of Kent offers easy access to uncongested airspace in the South East and the continent.

All training can be done at Lashenden (Headcorn) but some can be conducted at other aerodromes, e.g. night flying and instrument training at Lydd, Manston, Southend or Rochester
